Kimi Grill in Yucca Valley

Omg, the service was awful. First, my friend ordered sushi and got sushimi. Then, I ordered a water and the waiter forgot. So, I said to another waitress can I have a water because my waiter forgot. She said with an attitude, you want me to bring you some water or tell your waiter? I made a comment to my friend how rude she was and when she came back to my table with my water, she, with more of an attitude, started explaining she was not rude, rather than apologize. Then, the waiter didn't ask if we wanted anything else. When we went to pay the hostess, I started to tell her about the poor service. The waitress had the nerve to come up and shout at me. She then cussed at me. I WILL NEVER GO TO KIMI'S AGAIN.

This place is unexpected and delightful. It caters to a typical American taste unfortunately and so some of the rolls are on the large side, over-sauced and a lot of rice. However, I encourage you to venture away from the rolls people! Get the chef’s recommendation on sashimi or nigiri and then consider the grade of the fish and what else you can find nearby. Hands down the best.The yellowtail belly sashimi is one of the freshest and most delicious pieces of sushi I’ve been glad to eat. Melt in the mouth incredibleness. The salmon also was simply divine.I’d also recommend the hamachi and salmon collar - great for the cooked fish crowd.What a great place.

Bad service, expensive and s nothing special about this place. I want to leave immediately right after browsing at the menu.

This place is awesome! Affordable pricing, large dishes and the staff members are regularly very welcoming.

All I can say is wow! Best sushi I've ever had. I'm not a big fan of traditional sushi, I tend to go for deep fried and other cooked options. This place was so good, especially their volcano roll!! Also loved their tempura cinnamon balls. Such a creative and delicious twist on the classic cinnamon roll! Wish we had this place near my house, I'd go here every week. Also service was very fast, even though the place seemed busy. Servers were very friendly.

I regularly stop by buying some food in here. I enjoyed the speedy customer service and well made food. Fantastic work.

Best Japanese restaurant for miles and miles. There might be something more authentic in LA, maybe. Owners take such pride in their work, you can taste the passion in their food.

Best sushi in the area. Aki's is less expensive and comparable. Wide selection of fresh seafood for delish sushi, sashimi, handrolls. Bento boxes. Clean, accommodating staff.

Avocado Bombs were amazing! Really good yakisoba noodles...great feel to the place. Look foward to coming back for more.

Good food, Big portions. Service was great. Went here with 3 friends and we filled the table. I lived in Japan foe 2 years and this food is pretty good. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Even though Im not one for Sushi. I ordered the shrimp bowl. And it was delicious!

I celebrated my graduation last night in this gorgeous place. Well we enjoyed a fabulous evening and the restaurant was definitely the reason for the outstanding gathering. The crew cooperated in a graceful style, the food was extremely good and my guests were extremely happy. We shall surely come back again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Woulda given it five but the wording on the all you can eat menu was weird and was double charged...the food was magnificent however and I cant say enough good things to that end

Went for the All-You-Can eat and was not let down. Their selections are huge — literally. The rolls are gigantic and found myself not able to get past three separate roll styles. Will be back again!

I eat a lot of sushi and this as good as the best I've ever had. Had California, salmon and rainbow rolls. All were amazing.

Spicy tuna roll [tempura] among the finest on the planet.

The staff is very helpful and the best part is that they develop new rolls all the time.

Service was awesome. The waitress was friendly and very nice. The AYCE deal is not amazing. Hands down the most rice I've ever seen on a sushi roll. Very filling. And the imitation was Krab was too plentiful.

I was really looking forward to eating here after seeing all the good reviews, but I have to admit, I was a little disappointed.To be fair, I have only tried the All-You-Can-Eat sushi rolls. Their other items, like bento boxes and poke bowls, may be better.Typically, at an AYCE sushi roll place, I can eat 3-4 rolls. I could barely eat 2 rolls. For one, their rolls are pretty big (which is good if you are just getting a single roll to eat). They use a lot of rice in their rolls. Second, on the tempura rolls, they use a LOT of tempura. For me personally, I just wasn't a big fan.Overall, the place is nice and the service was good. I might go back and try something else.

Finally tried after driving by for 10 years. Pleasantly surprised by nice atmosphere and All-around great selection.

New in town visiting mom, I had reservations about sushi here. However this place was AMAZING. Better than my local place near Oakland. I will be treating my mom every time I visit.

Was riding, stop there and enjoyed the shade tree. Went in and use the restroom. Place seemed clean. Customers look like they were enjoying themselves. Staff was very polite. Nice pretty ladies to serve you. Next time I get a chance I'll give it a try.

This is probably the best place for sushi without going down to Palm Springs. A+
